| INTERNAL PARASITES |
| Most young, as well as adult dogs and cats are infested with intestinal worms which are parasites. They exist at the expense of the host, the dog or cat. The adult female worm lays thousands of eggs which are passed out in the host droppings. The eggs infest other animals and also re-infest the host. Larvae of certain worms which occur in dogs and cats infest humans. They cause typical syndromes some of which may be serious. |
